This is a three-year pilot project supported by Creativity & Change/Irish Aid and led by Irish/Ghanaian facilitator Kelvin Akpaloo, also the CEO/President of YVA. This project brings together young adults from Ireland and Ghana to explore how art, poetry, music, digital media, and dance can challenge global injustice. If you're interested in collaborating with other Global Citizens and creating art in fun, online workshops—while exploring potential transnational travel opportunities—join the team. Applicants with all kinds of creative skills are welcome, but these are not essential—everyone will bring unique strengths to the project, even if they haven’t discovered them yet.
1st Year: Group introduction (national and international), identifying a common social issue, and developing an action plan for the second year.
2nd Year: Implementing the action plan locally and nationally to raise awareness about the chosen issue.
3rd Year: Potential transnational travel opportunities for both nations to develop international actions in Ghana or Ireland.
